From the ashes I rise to life,
Re-born, renewed, strong and free,
I bring to life all dreams and hopes,
Ignited by fire, they burn within me.
Aloft I hold then for all to see,
Those I have held in my heart so long,
My hopes and dreams that are so strong,
Now on the winds they are carried along.
Where they will land and start to grow,
I leave to The One who knows all truth,
For I have nourished and set them free,
I trust they will grow and bear much fruit.
From the ashes they rise to life,
My hopes and dreams I held so close,
Out into the world I have set them free,
Like a phoenix from the fire arose.
